A cozy porch with rocking chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Queen size bed with luxury linens. Private bath, hot tub, and heated/lighted outdoor pool. A full breakfast is offered every morning and brought to you in your cottage. We also offer free wireless internet to all of our guests.
The Area
Smithville is located in the heart of central Texas. There are two public golf courses, and the Rocky Hill Ranch bike trails are less than ten miles away. The Colorado River and Buescher State Park are less than one mile away.
Sights to see: Gresham Street is located within walking distance from Smithville's wonderful downtown antique shopping and many restaurants. Smithville was the location of where the movie "Hope Floats" was filmed 10 years ago and we are located two houses away from the "Hope Floats" house.
Big Cities: Austin is approximately 45 minutes away. Houston is approximately 2 hours away. San Antonio is approximately 1 1/2 hours away.
